Phone Scam

Have you received an automated phone call claiming your MasterCard Debit Card was compromised?

Some clients report receiving such a call. The message asks the card holder to press 1 then enter their card's 16-digit account number.

Tax time (now until mid-April) is also the time when many fraud-related activities occur. Please be vigilant about any call, email or letter about your banking or financial information.

Please be aware of Prime Meridian Bank's client calling policy:

"Occasionally, we may contact you by phone to verify certain information or request additional information. If you are unsure that it is a Prime Meridian Bank employee, please do not give any information. Instead, request the name and phone number of the person, call us using the bank's main phone number (850) 907-2300, and we will transfer you to that individual."
