(Updated as of Friday, April 3, 2020) -- As the impacts of COVID-19 continue to mount, we support all measures put in place to keep our community healthy and safe so normal life can resume as quickly as possible. 

We are sharing the information and resources below to keep you aware of the actions we are taking to protect clients, our team, and your well-being. 

Please Use Our Drive Thru

Out of an abundance of caution we are asking clients and guests -- until further notice -- to please use our drive thru window(s) to conduct transactions. Hours vary by location.

SmartATM and Night Drop

All Prime Meridian Bank locations provide SmartATMs which can be used 24/7 to make cash withdrawals, deposit cash or checks, and make balance inquiries.  Night drops are available as well and are checked throughout the day during normal business hours.

Lobby Access by Appointment

Lobby access (for meetings with team members or to access safe deposit boxes, etc.) is by appointment.  Please call the main number of the office convenient to you and we will be happy to assist you.

Our Operations and Support Teams

Though our lobbies are accessible by appointment only, drive thru windows at all Prime Meridian Bank locations remain open regular business hours and our support teams are ready to serve you without interruption.  

Caring for Our Team

Taking care of our team is a priority. We continue to review best hygiene practices and have begun split work shifts so some can work from home. 

We are monitoring team travel as well and require anyone who has flown domestically or internationally, or been on a cruise, to self-quarantine for 14 days. Anyone who has left the immediate area is required to self-monitor.

Stay Connected with Our Convenience Tools

If you are not already enrolled, we encourage you to try our mobile and online banking tools. These tools provide 24/7 access to your accounts and give you the ability to handle nearly all of your banking needs on a mobile phone or tablet. Reach out to any one of our locations if you need help with enrollment.

Fraud and Scam Alerts

Scammers never take a break so in times like this please be vigilant. Consumer Alerts from the Federal Trade Commission offer updates on known scams and steps you can take to protect yourself, your personal information, and your wallet.

Keep Good Records

Begin now to keep good records of your time and expenses for business interruption, as well as that of any employees.  Though the rules have not yet been written, if you begin capturing the information now, as we progress over the coming weeks and months, you will be better prepared if, and when, they are.

Paycheck Protection Program Application Available

Recently released by the US Treasury and the Small Business Administration (SBA.gov) is a summary of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) for small businesses and other eligible organizations.

Scroll to the middle of the page to the section “Assistance for Small Businesses.” Here you will find an overview of the program as well as when to apply plus the borrower application to complete and provide to your lender of choice.

Disaster Loan Programs (State and Federal)

Coronavirus Emergency Loans Small Business Guide and Checklist: Prepared by the US Chamber of Commerce Guide to

State of Florida Funds: short-term, interest-free loans (for the duration of the loan) are being made available to small businesses that have experienced injury from COVID-19. This allows small businesses to receive cash immediately to lessen the impacts and helps “bridge the gap” until other resources (insurance claims, etc.) become available. SBA Disaster Assistance - The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) provides low-interest disaster loans to help businesses and homeowners recover from declared disasters. Businesses can apply for loans online through a 3-step loan process. https://www.sba.gov/funding-programs/disaster-assistance

Tips from Our Treasury Management Team

While there are no changes to the processing of ACH files, Remote and Mobile Deposits at this time, clients that are operating their business or organization remotely should consider the following:

  • If you and your employees are working remotely, provide us with alternative phone numbers where we may reach you.
  • If your remote scanner is being moved off site, you may need help downloading and installing new drivers.  Contact our Treasury Team at (850) 907-2300 for help.
  • Confirm access to Online Banking. Be sure you have access to your credentials and are able to login successfully. Store sensitive information securely.
  • Download our Mobile App
  • Plan for remote transmission of ACH files. Print extra blank copies of our ACH Transmittal Form so you can submit from outside the office. Call (850) 907-2300 for assistance if needed.
  • Ensure access to secure tokens. If you use a secure physical token/fob to log in to Online Banking, ensure that you and your employees have access to the token(s) or contact us for assistance setting up a Virtual Secure Token.
